We are organizing applications to NZAid for funding for art and art-oriented workshops later this year and in the first half of 2013.
We are prepared to help in making those applications for a series of bi-monthly workshops that could run from October, 2012 to June, 2013.
These workshops will include painting, drawing, photography, and mixed-media offerings, among others, depending on whom participates.
We intend to actively and widely promote these as a co-ordinated program for The Cook Islands.
We’d love you to participate in this unprecedented programme.
The workshops should run an approximate maximum of 25 hours over a seven day period, organized however best suits the trainer and their audience.
Trainers will be be paid at a rate of between NZ$20-25/hour.
We hope to recruit enough talented and varied trainers to be able to schedule a workshop every sixty days or so, and we will finalize scheduling after we determine whom has been accepted for funding.
I hope that you will participate.
If you do, we will only need your CV, your personal profile, an overall title and description of your proposed workshop, and a session-by-session description of your workshop content, as detailed as you would like.
We are coordinating the application process, so you’d need only to forward these elements to us and we will handle the rest of the application, which needs to be submitted by this coming Monday, 13 August, 2012.
Please let us know as soon as you can if you would like to be a part of this effort… simply respond via the Contact link at the top of any page of this site.
