Vaka Puaikura Dances at Aroa Nui Hall in Rarotonga, The Cook Islands

After the pageantry and spectacle of Te Maeva Nui, the Vaka Puaikura dancers gave an encore performance, along with invited guest performers, at Aroa Nui Hall in the Arorangi Village of Rarontonga.

This setting – more intimate than the National Auditorium – made the whole experience even more intense and personal.

Here are just a few images and impressions from this last Te Maeva Nui-related performance of this 47th year of Cook Islands Independence.
