As second runner up in this year’s Miss Cook Islands pageant, the opportunity to represent the Cook Islands at this year’s Miss South Pacific Pageant was an unexpected one. However, Kate considers this a privilege and a great opportunity to promote what we Cook Islanders hold close to our hearts – our beautiful country, our dynamic culture, and the genuine love and hospitable spirit of our people.

Kate’s campaign to do her best and to proudly represent our country at Miss South Pacific (to be held in Pagopago and the theme of which is “Treasures of the Pacific”) is made possible through the kind and generous support of our people.

“It is not the prize at the end that I most value , but the love and support of many, the journey we take and those that take the journey with me to see me through to the end, it is you that my heart treasures the most”. Kate Ngatokorua.
